Hi so i just got done replacing door pins and bushings in my blazer and everything went well considering it was ,my first time doing it. but i ran into trouble trying to put the spring back in. I was just wondering if anyone had any tips for puting it back in. i tried vice grips channel locks i just cant seem to get it back in.

compress it in a vise, safety wire it. install ,cut the wire and good to go. works great for me.

I use stainless. I have used bailing wire as well.

Mechanics wire should suffice-snake through 2 evenly across from each other.They do make a special tool but you prolly have to get it from a tool guy or jobber.
