I can't wait, headed out to Togwotee mountain lodge for some mountain riding the first weekend of Feb. got alot of info at the Novi snow show and decided to go for it. we'll spend 4 days at the lodge, as of yesterday they have received 127" this season and have 48" on the ground at the lodge. kind of nervous but I think the adrenaline will subdue the nerves after maybe 10 minutes :rolleyes: were renting 2008 polaris dragons with 155" tracks, I think she will be a handfull............

I'm jealous - can't make it out this year. Maybe next year. Watch out for creek beds and remember keeping it pinned is how you keep out of trouble! :D

And if you're not getting stuck you are not really having fun! You will have to post a lot of pics for those of us stuck in the midwest this year...

Sorry Dave, I marked us up as EXTREME riders :hallo1: :D .

We will have a guide and they wanted to get a idea of want kind of riding we wanted to do and what our abilities where. In the one catagory I picked extreme just because there is a chance that we could get paired with some other riders and I didn't want to chance having to ride with some newbies or novices :wink:

I guess if I can ride a two up touring sled most places you guys go then the dragon will be a piece of cake :lmao:

If it wasnt an 8 hour drive for me, I would meet you guys there. It is hard to leave Colorado when over the last 2 weeks over 5 feet of snow has fallen (and its only an hour or so drive for me to ride). Have fun guys. PJ, dont feel bad, Team Rental is coming up in a few weeks.

Pics don't do the conditions any justice :) . The snow had to have been 6 - 10 feet deep and was bottomless, you step down next to a tree, sink to you pits and your feet still wouldn't be touching the ground. I used to think the few feet in the U.P. was a bunch of snow :crazy:
The guide said this years riding has been exceptional due the fact that they missed their typical January thaw :thumbsup:

The 600 shift was OK but not no 800 and My Dragon 700 ran like crap most
of the time! Seemed to lack power! But they were a little fun to ride! LOL

It's so tough for the lodge to keep up on the snow look at the gas pumps, instead of plowing they run the groomer through the lodge and by the cabins so it's groomed 10 ft from your door...
