I recently switched from a 1995 Arctic cat ZRT 800 to a 1998 mxz670. I really like the power but, I'm use to the skis being on the ground under the weight of that triple. The mxz is so lite that the skis are in the air more than on the trail. I could keep playing with the suspension but, the season is so short I was hoping someone had already solved this problem and could provide some guidance. I just shortened the limiter strap and it helped some. I'm about in the middle of the strap.The front shocks are in the middle of the adjustment. The front rear is maxed and the rear is maxed. Easy fix...there should be a nut on the ACM coupler. I bet you are missing this nut or it has been loosened off. Tighten the nut all the way on and those skis won't lift if your life depended on it. You won't get much of a holeshot because the weight won't transfer, just remember to loosen the nut off before you race somebody! http://www.snowmobileworld.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
If you do this, you can lengthen your limiters again and set the suspension to wherever you want. This nut will keep the skis down just by being there.

In combonation with the ACM nut you might want to try a
higher preload on the torsion springs on the rear skid.

Thanks for the advice. I will give it a look tonight. That could be why my suspension seems to lose its lift after a couple minutes of riding. I ride for a couple of miles and the flap is on the ground. The sled can't even hold it's own weight. I had the shocks rebuilt as I thought that was the issue.
I also had trouble with the susp. not being hard enough. I've put in a ETS kit which worked great for stutter bumps and tail landings and I've put on rear springs rated for 380 pounds ( I weigh 230) with some oversize bushings to make it stiffer. Rode it hard yesterday for the first time and worked out perfect.

i have a mxz670 ho and it is the nature of the beast, you'll get used to it and man do the dance through the bumps

I have a 1997 MXZ 670, I set my front shocks at softest position, *limiter straps factory setting, *Front skid shock on 3 rear springs softest, and the amc a few threads from the end. rides and handles good, C&A Pro ski's made a bid differance on the handling reduced ski lift 90 percent, I weigh 88 kilo's(190) Canadian yea

Rocketman compared to the factory steel ski's the C&A pro's ate night and day, they are 150mm wide the old ski's 118mm.
They plain just work real good.

On my old 98 i actuallt found that if you ran the limiter strap a little tighter than factory and kept the acm tight on the trails that it actually had almost no inside ski lift.Skoot up near the gas tank on tight corners and let her fly. http://www.snowmobileworld.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
