Doo changes the connector type almost every year. You will have some jetting issues to deal with as well. Didn't the 700 have round slide carbs on it? My younger brother on his first trip north blew his 800x up only a couple miles from the motel a couple weeks ago, thought we found a 700 motor cheap but sold too high. Just gonna keep looking.
