Hi my name is Chris Ilive in Mid Michigan. I used to own a '95 XCR 600 but after some time I had to get rid of it now I am looking to acquire a '97 Ultra. The guy that has it tells me it is a good machine but the choke cables are gone. My cousin has a set from an XLT will these swap on? Also, what other leds will the cables swap from? Any triple sled? Thanx in advance.

What you do is go to the Polaris online parts catalog here:

http://parts.polarisind.com/Browse/Browse.asp

Select your year and model. The choke cable is under the "console" section. If you click on the little "usage" link it will show you the first page of sleds that use this part, but there is a bug in the Polaris site and it will only show you the first page with no way to see more results. The workaround is you type the part number in to "Advanced Search" on the Polaris site. Select "all years" in the search parameters. I get 2 pages of results and it looks like most XLTs do use the same choke cable. But it would be very wise for you to double check the online parts manual yourself and make sure your exact Ultra model and the Year and Model XLT really do use the same choke cable. My guess is this will work but for gods sake don't trust my guess.
