So I had two ring gear bolts come loose and started grinding into my case. totalled the ring gear and the clutch where it attaches. So e-start is out of the question with out a new clutch and ring gear. Not worth the $$$ to me. Its not a hard sled to pull anyways. Plus my battery seems to be on its way out. So what all can I removewithout have electrical problems. the starter and battery and I think its a solenoid on the foot well next to the battery?

Can I just take out the battery and make sure all the connections are insulated? I don't want to blow my voltage regulator or something.
