Great site and my first post.
I have a 1990 Safari LC and am having electrical problems.
The machine starts and runs fine but the lights flicker and are very..very dim.
When it initially starts the lights are bright but when it revs up the lights flicker and get dim.
Can't find the voltage regulator. Only 12volts to the battery on the multimeter with the machine running. Thought it might be a ground but tried grounding everything with no luck.
Where is the voltage regulator? Is there a way of testing the charging system?
I would like to avoid pulling the flywheel if possible.
