Does anyone know if gasoline is available in Gogama? We're going thru the area next month & I saw on another site that there was no gas in town. I knew there was a Petro Canada station out on Hwy. 144 but it's not listed on the Petro Canada website.

Folks have said that Tata-Chika-Pika Lodge has gas, but I can't see that being the only gas station in the area.

Gas has been available in Mattagami in the past a few miles to the east, but want to have a 2nd choice in case they're out of gas. We'd rather not have to try to make it to Shining Tree for a fill.

Two years ago the station in Dubreuilville ran out of gas when the fuel truck was stopped behind a accident south of Wawa. Had to do some running around to gas up.

I've sent a email off to TATA (Dist. 14) & the Timmins S/C. If & when I get a reply, I'll post any info.

The gas station in Gogama was closed last year. It is expected to open again before the snow this year. We stayed at Lise's Lakeview Retreat in Gogama and she had gas brought to the resort for us. It is a great place to stay.

We ended up getting gas @ the First Nations in Mattagami. It's right on the C trail & the homemade burgers were great.
