I have developed a leak in my front heat echanger on my 03 zr 900. It looks as if someone has tried to weld it before, since it looks like a pick came off and dug a 4" long groove in it. My question is, has anyone ever used a radiator repair product like bars leak to pour in or even tried the cold weld stuff you can sqweeze together and it turns to metal. Will either one of these work, as i have found out that if i cant weld the leak then i have to replace the complete bulk head as the exchanger is part of the frame and cant be replaced. If the crack isnt too bad then i hope either will work.

You have to weld it or replace it.
The other fixes are simply hack jobs-
jb-weld may last for a bit however it's still temporary.

If you want to go the cheapo route just put an egg down the system.

there are cheap fixes but none that I would trust 100 miles from nowhere with a storm rolling in other than welding
