Any big changes that a guy should note between these two years on a 600/700 xc?? Looking at buying one of these. Rode a 600 last year and it had unbelievable :hallo1: throttle response. It was a beauty.

I think just the Gen II chassy is the only difference. They still both have the khein carbs. No VES on the 600 still the big block 600. I have a 98 xc 600 with slp clutch kit and boost bottle 4400miles on it for sale if you are interested. ;)

the motor are the same,polaris changed the exaust and air box to quiet them down. 98 had the old body style,99 are gen 2 body.
the 99 has a fox pps shock,rides better than the 98
