i was riding my crap sled (ditch banger sled) it was going normal and then all of a sudden it slowed down and the acceleration is horrible im pretty sure it has somthing to do with the clutch. it is a 1986 safari 377. i parked the sled and opened the hood and found a small gold spring. i think its from the clutch. im not that familiar with clutch and have never taken one apart before. I did take on the challenge of re doing all the seals inthe engine last summer and i did that ok. but if anyone know what this spring is and what i should do to get this sled going good again i would apreciate it thankss.

Primary or secondary? Clutches will need to be rebuilt either way, coming from the idea that th ey never were inspected, its best they get removed and taken apart and cleaned by a tech.... Relatively cheap...
