I can unsrew the bolt (rod) that hold the clutch but it doesn't come out(the bolt). I tried pulling it out with longnose but no luck! I did rescrew it in at proper tension. I don't want to mess it up. Is there a trick to remove that bolt?

Just grab ahold of it with the long nose pliers and turn it out while pulling it out. There is a nylon bushing you have to get it through.

There is a urethane bushing that the clutch bolt goes through. That sometimes gets messed up, even melts, that makes it a pain in the a$$ to get the bolt out. You just have to keep messing with it. Try to grab hold of the bolt with a set of Needle Nose Vice grips and try to work it out. It will eventually come but I have had to work at it awhile.. ??? Cat got rid of that damn bushing in 2000 :D

I have had the same problem, I put a socket on my cordless drill and the extra speed seemed to spin it right out. Good luck!
