Has anyone ever had a stud rip out on the outer edge of there track, because its between the slider and out side of track it riped out a u-shape pattern, does anyone know if theres a way to fix this before it gets worse, and do you think it will get worse. The track is still in great shape. I did ride about 150 miles on it last weekend and it seems to be fine for now. Thanks for the help!

Last year was the first year I had any studs pull through... and yes, they were 2 on the outside, didn't tear the track, just left a hole.... I burnt the edges with a propane torch and it hasn't gotten worse

do you mean melt the rubber a little around the area where the stud pulled through?

Studs will eventually rip out on the out edge of the track if they are mounted close to the edge.... i have studs all over my track and nothing came out yet...... my idlers are fine... it all depends on if they are mounted flush from the inside of the track....
WTF is a MACK Z.... last time i checked it was a MACH Z

Just take a knife and cut all the dangling rubber and fibers. Melt it a bit with a propane torch. And take out all the other studs accross that section of track.

hehe, I love showing the track tear carnage!
Please keep in mind, this was 2-3 years of riding after the first few started to pull. I'll never pick the outside of a track again.
