I just got my 2004 ProX 600 home. First snowmobile I have ever owned. It says in the owners manual that there is a tether beside the key. But what is beside the key it appears to be a plug in for a heated visor. Where is the tether??? Or is there not one. :confused: Hopefully I don't sound to stupid asking this question. The machine runs and everything. So there is either no tether or the tether is somewhere I can't see it. Any one kinda understand what i'm saying.

tether switch could have been remove. its just plugs into a 2 prong plug right befroe the key. you can go order a new one if you want to.

Would the ProX come from the factory with a plug to plug in ur heated visor? I haven't pluged mine in there yet but it sure looks like the same plug.

Just went out and looked at the machine. There is no 2 prong plug near the key. I looked in the owner manual and it talks about the tether switch and has in brackets (accessory). I'm guessing that this also means it's an option. I don't have to have a tether. Just wondering where else i could hook the key. As most people hook the key to the tether switch. Any ideas?

its shold have been where that other plug is not. for some reason its not on the parts printout for 04 though. ill tkae a pic on the connector and get you the part number for you tomorrow if oyu choose to put it back on.
