http://www.snowmobileworld.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif * Glad I ride a 01 *panther. *my seat is really soft. * *The only time I mind the ride is when riding 3 to 4 ft moguols for 17 miles. *just makes my butt feel bad but no chaffing. *it is * *odd that a group of 6 would all have the same effect. * if it was only your group *maybe every one used the same type of soap * who knows * see if anyone else has that problem??

LadyK, *If you can get Avon products, take a warm bath in "Skin-so-Soft". * You will love it. * I am not going to tell you that I do this because I would catch so much grief it wouldn't be worth it, but I "think" *it will help you a lot. *WWW.AVON.COM. *By the way, ballsout1 , I am laughing so hard my ribs are sore, and from what you told me yours are too.

I am not sure what happened, but if your seat is too sticky and is causing chaffing, try Armor All Vinyl Protectant on the seat. I did that to my ZRT to preserve it after cleaning and the seat is always super-slippery for the next hundred miles or so.

I guess that I'm out of the loop on this one but why would
someone want a super-slipery seat?

I was using the dry seat at first.Stopped using it and chaffing has decreased, butt it is still chaffing. Just did 250 kliks and were all chaffed. *A wet bottom seems to have something to do with it. *As for the soaps we own a bath product company that specializes in natural bath products ,(ie, goats milk/ hemp oil) so it cant be the soap, it is the seat!!! *Never happened on my other sleds, atv's or dirtbikes. Just the 02's. http://www.snowmobileworld.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif

If your bottoms are getting wet then thats your problem. I got some goretex bibs from Cabelas for 100 bucks. I love them, never ever gotten wet at all in them. Well thats my two cents!

In all seriousness I think I know what yer talking about. *My seat is very slippery, which I really like. *When I sat on the new MXZ's it felt like I was taped on with the seat and handlebars. *I would just try to find some slippery bibs to wear so you don't get the "irritation".
