what is the deal with cops giving people tickets in ny that have after market pipes and cans on there sled i have heard rumors that it is because of noise and not the parts i have aftermarket pipe and can i ride all over just want to know what is the deal in ny and in canada

i dunno i have never heard of this. none of my friends or i have gotten tickets for aftermarket pipes or cans makin to much noise. maybe they where riding where they werent suppose to be? that would be the only thing i can think of.
