The adjustable pins I'm putting in (18.6g) are about 1/4" or more longer than the stockers. Also the primary spring that goodwin gave me is red, and much shorter than the stock b/y spring.

I bought the kit from a guy on ebay it's for a 99 MXZ HO. Is this kit wrong for my 98 FZ670? Or are the differences what makes this kit better?

Yes the adjustable pins are longer, as for the spring I am not sure. I can't see why it wouldn't work. I think the best thing would be install it & see how it works. If it doesn't work right then take it out.
