Last winter it seemed like the sleds that were having relay problems were older models. I don't recall any '07s not starting in the cold.
Last week on a morning when it was -21*C (-6*F), I was able to start my sled & let it run for about 10 minutes. I shut it off, finished packing my gear & suiting up. When we went to leave, the sled wouldn't start, no idiot lights came on, no pump & no 10-9 on the display. I pulled the relays, warmed them in my hands. Re-installed them & the sled fired up.
This was the same scenario as last winter when my '04 Legend 600SDI failed to re-start in Cochrane 1 morning @ much colder temps.
My '07 was brand new @ the start of the season & had around 2200 miles on Saturday.
Has anyone else had relay problems on low mileage sleds? The thought last winter was that the relays had reached the end of their service life on the '04s & '05s. Seems strange that this would happen so soon.
