: What Kind Of Sled Should I Get?

Just wanted to know what everyones thoughs were on some 02 and newer sleds. I currently have a02 ZR600 crosscountry. I bought a skidoo safari for my wife this fall and she started riding my sled, well that's all it took. She said if I give her mine I can look for another one for myself.
I have a pretty nice private trail system in NE ohio that my parents property has access to. It's mostly tight winding, narrow, short steep hills but with some BIG long wide open fields. I kind of like the F6's and F7's but have not ridden one. My buddy in MI has a Skidoo rev that he say's is awsome. I'm not brand specific. I don't think I have the space to get much over that 90 to 100 mph mark. I have a few spots that I can get the ZR up to about 95mph. What I'd like is somthing light, nimble, and quick (don't we all). Thanks in advance for the info.

[No I'm not a bleed green kind of guy. I'm just familiar with them. What do you all think about the 600 Rev HO series?
As for the F series I've noticed some posts regarding "problems" what are some of the problems they have?

I figured someone on the cat side would have something good to say about the firecats?? But looks like I should be looking at a doo.

Personally, after putting 300 miles on a rev last season and a couple hundred on an F7, I would take the F7.
I too have a 2002 ZR600 and I love the sled. My experience on the rev chassis is that it is tippy, washy, and the cockpit is WAY to small. I thought I was going to have bruises on my knees after riding it (I am 6'3'').
Now I know that there is a lot in set-up, but the rev really took my nerves and put them on edge. It was hard to control, very unpredictable in the corners, and uncomfortable (plus they are ugly as sin).

The F7 felt second nature, brutal fast, and is a good looking sled to boot. It was tippier than my ZR, but nothing like the rev. Now, I am referring to the Firecat chassis, not the new F stuff that is even uglier than the rev.

I personally would only look at a doo if it was a sdi and mileage was my main concern

Thanks,
I'm 6'3"also and like the ZR but to be totally honest I'd like something a little faster. I'm with you the new cats are butt ugly. I guess it will depend on which one I find a better deal on.
