Hi there,
Being a rookie sledder, I committed a cardinal sledding sin. Got stuck, tied a rope between the skis, and tried to get it un-stuck with my truck, which did not work. No surprise to probably everyone here that when I went back to untie the rope, the tips of the skis were touching.
I found that one of the ball joints on the right side was completely shredded, so of course the joint was no longer attached to the ball. So, I replaced the ball joint, and since the other 7 ball joints seemed to be intact, I figured I'd be good to go. However, that's not entirely the case. Both skis will turn, but there is still quite a bit of play. Can anyone provide some suggestions or a checklist of things I can/should check to reduce/eliminate the play?
