I have a guy that is selling extreme studs and backers. Are they any good? I can get them for 1.60 a piece( stud and backer). If he installs them it is a extra 50cents a hole. SWRules

Ran them last year, they work well, and I don't need to replace any going in to this season. A friend of mine just picked up some for his sled.......

The problem you have is the price..... a buck sixty each is to high.... you could buy them at haydays for a buck a piece with nut and backer, and at the detroit area Novi show a week ago the dealers got in to a price war and you could get them for 90 cents a piece with nut and backer! (never saw them that cheap before) ....... powersports parts runs them on Ebay I think for a buck or $1.10 each (I havn't looked lately). There made right outside minneapolis, someone in wisc. must have them cheaper than $1.60. Stainless steel is the way to go....
