I gotta a 98 vmax xt 500 with only 2000 kms on it!!!!!

The motor runs great for about 5 minutes and then it looses all it's power..... It sounds like the motor is running with the choke on, and kinda makes a spuddering sound like it is running too rich.... The slead will only go about 70kpm when it is warmed up, but will go 130 kph when u first start it up and take off...

ANY HELP PLEASE!!!!!

I cleaned the carbs!!
I replased the coil / wires / and plugs

I have no idea what is wrong with it..

Do some compression tests.... warm, cold, dump some oil in and pull it over etc.(leak down test)

and check your crank seals, do you see the spark plugs looking like they are running lean? all white....
