I am very interested in getting into the engine rebuild arena. I have good experience with most wrenching/ carbs etc, but have never tackled the internals of a motor. I have service manuals but was wondering if anyone had a recommended training/book that I could use to gain experience. I'm trying to do this in my limited spare time. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

The first rebuild I ever did was from a clymer manual. Covered everything to look for. If the motor has blown the cause has to be determined, thats the main thing.
