DrZOOM 01-23-2002, 06:50 PM I read in the tech articles (Rave valve maintenance) that there is a spring you can get from the Ski-doo dealer that will replace the tie wrap. I have a 1993 670. MXZ_Rider 01-26-2002, 08:16 AM Some time between 1995 and 1997 Rotax switched from the tie wraps to the springs - my buddy's 95 Formula SS had the ties (pain in the butt to install + have to order new ones all the time). *My old 97 MachZ had the springs. *You should be able to switch over to springs no problem...his have stayed put for 2 years since we changed them over.
