We've been getting misty rain every day but the last few days we chased sunbreaks and went out to a spot that is closer to home but much lower in altitude than we normally ride. We actually hadn't been there in 2 years. So there is much less snow than in any of my other pics and video, but rest assured we still have 12 feet at the higher riding elevations. Actually no youtube this time, but some stills and stills from video. The Vmax runners were putting on a shower of sparks during the road crossing and I realized the runners were just about gone - see the pic. It was a fun change of pace, you can see on the 19th it was so nice we didn't even wear gloves.

You said it. Almost sliced my fingers when I removed those things, that is a knife edge there in the middle.

We intend to go out today to the high mountains, then you'll see how much snow we really have. These pics are like 2500 feet maximum and that's not even parking lot altitude for the other riding spots.

What I can't believe is the ski lift I'm getting out of that SKS...that pic there is just pulling out from a stop. The torque and throttle response now is just unreal. One more big plug for the SLP 38/34 progressive helix and Black secondary spring, that alone turned this old pokey indy 500 into a performance machine. I wonder why Polaris was putting those crappy old straight helices in there when the progressive makes such an incredible difference? Completely night and day. Just this helix and spring, with absolutely no other engine or clutch mods, have been an incredible performance boost. I'm so sold I've ordered a progressive helix for the Vmax (the RMK already has one). Had to go with Bender for the Vmax helix because SLP doesn't make them, but I couldn't be more excited about a clutch upgrade :)
