Trail riding, bowls of powder, hit back country get away from the crowds or join in. We love it! It's gotten bad wrap lately because of trail closures on west side. Cabin use is on east side of lake where the best riding is anyway and nothing of note is closed.
We changed gears and rent a cabin at Priest Lake Idaho for the week http://www.priestlakehaven.com/ It’s up north end of lake on the east side so away from 90% of the people but only 10 minutes from State Park that has credit card gas pumps. We usually go up with 2-3 families so we split the rent. We’ll drop off kids and/or wives so they can snowshoe or CC Ski an area then us guys go sledding for ½ day come back have lunch and take off again usually the kids and wives stay behind play games watch videos and we go sledding till dinner. We mix it up from day to day and now whole family really looks forward to our winter week.
