I was told by a co-worker (& sledder) that has a cottage on Lake St. Peter, that the lodge burned down on the weekend.

W/ the state of the management there, I wonder if the Fire Marshall's office is deeming it suspicious?

I was by it on Friday & they've levelled the whole place. It was hard to tell from the Bancroft Times article whether just the restaurant portion burned or the whole building.

Several vehicles were parked @ the Porterville Diner.

No appearance of any reconstruction either.

I was talking to a co-worker has a cottage nearby & he hasn't heard anything about rebuilding. If a is fire is legitimate (not found to be arson), doesn't the property owner have to rebuild before they can collect from the ins' company?
