I have 5500 miles on the Grand Tourning 600 and I am checking everything out. As I have the seat off, I figure this is a good time to change the fuel filter. Why wait for problems? I called my dealer who said it is in the tank and not to worry about it. It sounds like a hassle. I do see a round metal plate on the top of the tank with some wires coming out. I imagine this is for the electronic gas guage. Should I change the filter? How do I do it?

Thanks.

Ski doo just uses a screen on the end of the pickup tube in the tank, it isnt really a filter. Ive never had to clean one of them.
