I am purchasing a sled and have 3 options, but am new to the snowmobile world and dont have a lot of knowledge of them. I am 6' and 175lbs. I am looking for a fairly quick sled for trails and just open field riding and good reliability. My budget is ~$2,000 and I am located in NE Ohio.
Options:
1) 1999 ZR 600 Arctic Cat. 2000 miles, picked, great shape, $2000
2) 2002 Arctic Cat Z570. picked, fan cooled, miles unknown at this time, $2200
3) 2001 Arctic Cat ZL 800. 3100 miles, great shape, $1950
Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

For the horse power and performance your looking for, go with the ZR600. It's great on and off the trails. Handles real well and has the power for when you need it, A 1999 with it having 2000 miles on it. It should run real strong. JMO.

the most fun you could get is with a lighter sled going for a smaller engine might be a good idea too like a 98-99 zr440 sno-pro. they are really fast and will only run you $1500 at the most then you can put the 500 into mods and make it really really zippy

I'm for the Z570 just because I own one. Why not consider sprnding a bit more and get my Z570LX. No sense getting someone elses problems if it turns out to be a high mileage sled.
Good luck!

Well, thanks for all of the input everyone! I ended up not getting any of those sleds I listed. I found a 2001 Yamaha SX-R 700 triple for a great deal. The sled is in great shape!
