I am thinking of getting a 04, 05 or 06 Skidoo 500SS for this upcoming season. Any suggestion or opinions regarding this decision? What should I be looking for when purchasing? Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Chris!

The 04,05's have a higher ride height in the frontends. In 06 doo lowered the front(1 1/2") to cornner better and also went to the pilot skis for better bite.Also in 06 doo went to the fixed windshields over the mobile and a SC4 skid. Some say the 05 &04's ate up the molgels better than the lowered 06's. If you can get the adreneline pkg , it comes with gas shocks adj toe holds & short brake lever. Mainlly the shocks are a concern, the motion control shocks on the trail version will not last if your a adgressive rider and plan on jumping .
Aside from that the SS is a soild sled and will perform right next to the bigger sleds , sometimes even make them scratch there heads from time to time.
