I am interested in putting an elec fuel guage and temp guage on my 02mxz8x. i was just wondering if bombi has improved on the design of the elec fuel guage since 98?.i had some problems on my 98 fuel sensor where there was a poor solder connection and this kept breaking during hard riding, i kept re soldering it and it would last for a while but would eventually break, obviously a design flaw.... just wondering if they have been improved before i invest in this option.....

Have both items on my 00 sled w/2500 miles w/ no problems.

2600 miles and no problems, works great.

If you buy these kits are the wiring plugs already there. I know the fuel sensor has a plug already there under the seat. What about the temp guage ? Where does it read the temp from, the coolant or the cyl head temp ? Best place to buy guages ?
