Then if you want it lower in most cases you can drop your smallest gear i think thats the top one by 2 teeth without changing the chain sometimes more. You would need to look into that cause i dont no what you got as gearing now and i am not sure about any of the polaris set ups. If you dont care about money and want to go all out low end and i mean this is really low and will slow you a lot i would recommend the biggest gear that will fit for the bottom wich in most is a 45 but sometimes can go all the way to 49 and then a 19 is probably the most common low top but a 18 would be potent to. This is probably way to low for the sled though espically if its only got a small track. It will also slow you down big like easily 15 km/h. If i got another sled in the future for teh snow i would go 49 19 but if i were you with what you got try making the bottom the biggest that will fit and then drop the top about 2 teeth or maybe more depending on the increase of the top or whatever would let you use the same chain and it should help.

You would have a pretty unusual sled if you really do have a 2000 Edge 600. That sled, unless it's been tampered with already (and you don't say what gears/mods are on it now, so it's impossible to tell), shouldn't be bogging down in any snow conditions. If it is, you are more likely looking at a clutching issue. Maybe your time/money would likely be better spent making sure both clutches are running at 100% prior to doing any other mods? If the springs haven't been replaced in the last couple years, that's where I'd start. Maybe inspect everything else (like the secondary buttons and flyweight bushings) for wear when you are replacing those. Just me.

Snowking, you're asking about my Fusion? If so, we're in the collecting parts process. Working on Ryde clickers for all 4 corners. Need one more (front skid) to complete the set. Also have a set of Air 2.0. This thing should be a blast..... Been collecting stuff to get into shocks on my own too. Figure this sled is going to teach me some stuff, or kill me one.... -Al

agree with mhicks, if theres bogging you have other issues not gearing. i like to gear for 90-100@1:1. any higher is just for gas milage.
