Anyone have any experience with this track, or with the same profile? Mainly riding lakes, water & backcountry / hills. Curious how the "hacksaw" pattern works in loose conditions. TIA!

The Hacksaw is a 1" with the same style lugs as the 1.25" Ripsaw, no? I can tell you with a fair amount of certainty that the Ripsaw stinks something terrible in loose conditions.

I don't know why the plan to go 1", maybe for durability, ability to run studs with better penetration, top end? A lot of guys going with the Predator for those reasons.

Otherwise, for loose conditions on/off trail, you might want to take a close look at what people are saying about the Cobra. Avatar is a standing start, competely stock motor/clutching Apex in 24" of loose, though rather heavy, snow. No studs. Incredible difference over the stock Risaw it replaced......doesn't make any diffrence if you're running hard pack or loose.
