Not much knowledge on sleds so some help is needed,
i got a 92 indy 500, EFI, its starts but only for about fifteen seconds, then shuts down, any i dea about what the problem is?

the carbs r probably gummed up. buy some foam stuff at ur local dealer and follow the instructions. might wanna drain the gas first if that's the problem. That's what I might try but see what other people think too.

The sled is not equipped with carbs if it is an EFI model. If the engine is starting normally and there are no codes being flashed on the LED which is on the side of the computer then the first thing I would test is the fuel pressure. Tee a guage into the fuel line where it goes into the fuel rail on the clutch side. When the engine is started or when you try to start the engine there should be about 37 psi on the guage. I suspect you are not getting adaquate fuel pressure

Put some good fuckin gas in it. Maybe new plugs ??????
