Just wondering if Mach 1's and Z's are tripples. I'm looking into buying a new sled, but I wouldn't want a tripple. Thanks

Depends on what years. all Mach 1' with 583, 617 & 670's are twins & the newer Mach Z's with 1000 are twins. The 700 mach 1's are tripples & the Mach Z's with 780 & 800 are tripples

My dad had a 92 mach 1, 617 and it was a double. It was pretty heavy but would hall azz and SCREAM! Good sled but we upgraded.

triples make sweet power

I just up graded from a 2000 mach z triple to an 06 Mach z with the 1000 twin, and i can say with out any doubt, the power of that twin would chew up my older 800 no problem. i can't believe the pull this new (new to me) sled has.
Will never look at another tripple in my life. I loved the triple when i had it, swore by its power even after 3 center pistons replaced over the 7 years i owned it.
But after only my first ride on the Bay this week-end. you couldn't smash the smile off my face it was that awesome.
