Hi guys !! I’ve got a 98 Formula III 700 that lost the pto bearings last march with only 900 miles. :cussing: Thanks to the excellent pictures sent by Steph Lemire, I just finished drilling out the oil ports to allow more oil to reach the bearings. I’m planning to reassemble my engine and sled over the Thanksgiving weekend but was wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to anything else I should do to the engine or sled before I put it all back together.
I am planning to do the following to my engine and sled:
new crank
new SPI ceramic coated pistons
new gaskets and seals
clean the RAVE valves
match transfer ports to crank case
install AD Boivin ETS rear suspension upgrade
install 144 Mega-bite Woody studs
install Ultra III snow-X flex skis ( C&A copycat )
6” Woody carbides
Thanks for your help ! :D
P.S. I’m hooked on this website. I visit at least twice a day. There are a lot of knowledgeable people who frequent this site with great ideas. Thanks SW !
