working on a friends 95 xlt replaceing the track when we ran into a road block! on the cluthc side,the drive shaft goes threw the side belly and into a bearing. that bearing is seized onto the drive shaft if i heat it up that bearing needs to be replaced? 2nd is that bearing on a 1 peice unit that allen screws onto the shaft?

The bearing should be 2 parts you will need to remove the allen and loosen (turn) the lock coller on the bearings so they can be removed, The coller is off center "eccentric" on the inside. Loosen set screw in eccentric collar, then turn collar with punch to release it from bearing and shaft. I have also used "PB blaster, penetrat catalyst" spray on give it some time. Good luck :)
