Hi there
I feel kind of silly asking, but since this is the first time i have owned an electric helmet i thought i would ask her first.

should you install the wires directly to the battery or should you place an inline fuse in there? Or better, is there a fuse already in there that i can connect through?

I have a 07 arctic cat f1000

thanks

you can wire it to any fuseable link, on my 92 583 formula plus I went to the headlight link, but on my 98 formula deluxe 583 I put a toggle switch on the dash and went right to the battery.
if it stays hot (or live) and you have a cable hanging down near the tunnel I've seen them ark from the lead to the tunnel so I wanted a shut off. good luck and happy trails

You will be alright running to the battery without a fuse.. Not up on the newer f series models.. just unplug when from helmet when done riding.. Thats how mine is installed from the dealer without a fuse that is.. No battery
