I just bought a heated shield for my helmet and am looking to wire it up ASAP. My question is where I should be hooking it up to. I am afraid of hooking it up in the wrong spot and frying out the electrical system. Is there an extra (open) plug I can just utilize? Use spade connectors? Or do I have to make a splice? Also, I wanna make sure it is a 12v system..is it?
