I have a 01 MXZ 600 (as most of you know), and Im wondering if its worth boring it. I want more power out of it, but I dont want to spend a LOT of money. Will I notice a difference?? Also, who does it?? thanks.

Going to a big bore is kind of a waste unless you have damaged cylinders and pistons. Just sell the sled and get a bigger one.

:) A head shim kit works well and not much cash to get one.

Only place I know making a big bore for the 440 500 and small 600 is the CrankShop 740 kit. 145, but $3200.

Sell the motor and put a 800 in it
about a third of the price

It's a good thing your not up here in Canada, Sledcrazy 'cause you'd want to keep the 600 unless you want to pay ridiculous insurance rates :angry:

Well insurance for my 600 isnt too bad down here, but anything over 600cc is exteremly expensive.
