You paid $8000 before taxes in Ontario? That's impossible. $9200 + taxes, right?

kingsmack

No it was 9200 with tax. I put on a skid plate and a few other things and that got me up to 9500 but that is with tax.. But that is for a 600 HO sport with RER not a X .

WHY !

What??? $9200 including tax??? MSRP is $9799 for a 600 HO with RER. How did you get one for $8000??? Details please ....

Yes, please do tell. Did you have a trade-in you didn't tell us about?

My 600HO "X" was $10,200 + taxes. List is $11,049 if I remember correctly. I am not saying I got a spectacular deal, but I felt it was fair.

First lets make sure we are talking about the same sled that being the sport and not the REV X.

Now what is there to tell the best price I was able to get was from the Cove and St Onge<sp>

$7400 is a good fair price! You should feel good if you purchase the sled at that price! I'm sure you will hear of someone with a better deal and someone with a worse deal but 7400 is a good deal. The best price I have heard is $7300 out the door with a 6% sales tax. :)

I realize you were talking about the Sport. I just used my "X" price as a comparison. You got one hell of a deal. Neither dealer would be making very much money on these...

That is a good deal I paid 7,500 for my 800 rer sport.
That was without taxes.

I think some of you are not realizing he is talking Canadian $$$$ here. $7500-8000 might be a good deal in the States but here in Canada, $8000 is an incredible deal here!!! So incredible I have a hard time believing it !!! !!! !!!

Icedog: I have a tough time believing it as well, but it doesn't matter to me. My REV "X" is already paid for and there's no chance I could negotiate a better deal. What's done is done.

Muskoka doo,
That means you would pay $10000 incl tax for a REV 800 with the $800 upcharge.
No way.
You must be forgetting something unless you own the dealership.
Please post a copy of your invoice.

Read what he typed again... there's an $800 charge for the upgrade to the 800 engine. He's implying that if he paid $9200 for the 600HO, the 800 would be $10000. Too cheap, IMHO.

That's a great price. I was a little over $7,600.00 out the door.
