I recently got a 1994 zr580 it has an aftermarket exhaust and the guy told me that he had re-jet the carbs it seems like its to rich it bogs on starts and when you get to 3\4 to full throttle it seems like it loads up bad. stock it was to have 400 jets in it he had put 390 or 380 in it im not sure as to i have not taken apart to see for myself. was looking for any in put that i could get. has 40mm carbs on it and i know that the did have issues with the needl jet with it bieng small or big... anyway also looking for a soruce to get different jets and a carb re-build kit. Any help is great!
