I went riding today on a frozen lake. very little snow and what there was was hard packed. Of course the check engine light started flashing fairly quick. My ZR 600 did not seem to be bothered by it. As soon as I got of the lake on to a field hit a few drifts it was fine so I am assuming it was a temp thing. Not sure why the temp light didn't come on .
So, I noticed the snow flap on my ZR comes almost all the way down to the ice but the F7 is a good 5 inches off even with me sitting on the back. If it got some mud flap and extended the flap down do you think it would help kick more snow up to cool it down. I thought I saw a post about this awhile back but could not find it.
