I bought a low profile (.540) track for my mxz 7 to run on ice. I now need the best stud and pattern for it. The track is the 9811 by Camoplast and the stud that I am considering is the 1.00 " Woody's 30 degree steel Eliminator or the 1.00" steel chisel. What do you more experienced racers think of my selection? Is 1" too much stud for a .540" track?
I'll appreciate all your feedback.

The best stud to use for a 9811 whether it be grass or ice is the chisel stud especially when the ice on the starting line gets chewed up, in an MXZ 7 I would use 192 studs. -- Bill

Hey Bill thanks for the reply. I have seen guys running clutching and engine mods that were done or recommended by you -Good Work. Wish you were closer to Maine so that you could do some wrenching on mine.
What length chisel should I get : .920", 1", or 1.060"?

The one to use is the 1.060" and thanks for the compliment. -- Bill

Use the studboy pattern shown on their website for 192. This has worked the best for us.
