has spark, can hear fuel pump run, wont start, the red light is not flashing, has new battery, when it does start, runs good untill u shut it off, then wont restart.

Check compression

Check fuel pressure

Check the battery

if the above checks are ok yu will need a multimeter to check the sensor inputs . I can give you instructions if you need them but first determine the first three things are good

everything checks good, how do i check the sensors.

I had a 90 RXL that the ground cable at the engine was intermitant (loose connector on cable). I had a 95 that the ECU went bad on but that one would not start at all after the ECU went out.

What fuel pressure reading did you get , and did it change when the engine is turned ?

Also let me hear some history , how long have you had it and what parts if any of the EFI system have been disturbed recently.

That is why I told you to check the fuel pressure

Insufficient volume will cause low pressure. You can't have low volume and high pressure .
