my 440 exciter was having issues and the guy i bought it from said he would look to see whats wrong. he says the piston and cylinder are burned out (need to get new ones)on the right side.

what i dont get is what is the relationship between a cylinder and piston. are they together or separate?????
and what is the difference between a clyinder and cylinder head???
would that cause my sled not moving like it was (60 MPH slower at full throttle and not as much power)???????
