Hello all, just wondering if anyone would be able to give me some tips, advice or tell me flat out what to do. I recently broke the front "frame" of the suspension, (the metal arm that connects the front shock/spring to the suspension frame).
I had it welded by a certified welder friend of mine, so that is all repaired.
I am trying to install the whole suspension back into it now and have gotten the 2 front bolts in. (got them tight but left enough room for some play for now)
However, I am lowering the rear now to line up the 2 upper boggie wheels inorder to put those bolts back in, and they appear to be like a inch or inch 1/2 behind the whole they are suppose to line up with.
It would seeem that i need to compress the rear shock to get them to move forward. Is there a way to take the tension off these rear upper wheels so that i can move them forward and bolt them in?
I am trying to hold out on doing the polish thing (i'm polish so no hard feelings) and drilling new holes and mountin it back further, but if worse comes to worse i guess i wouldn't mind doing this. I just want it to be installed correctly.
Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
