Hi . I have 95 zr700. The engaement is a little low (3800rpm). I would like to see maybe 4500. I have the stock A23 cams(53.5gram) and the stock green/yellow spring. The cams are stepped. Would a lighter cam help( maybe 52grams) or getting a cam without the sharp step.? The sled pulls at 7700rpm - 7800rpm when opened up. Secondary is stock. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well lighter weights will give you higher engagment but that will also raise yoru running RPM. A tighter spring will do the same. If you are happy with the running RPM you will have to change both weights and spring to get it right. Welcome to clutching!
