Ya so i am having issues with my sled its a 99 summit x 670. I bought it rode off and fixed it for the water in the summer. I changed a gear and made it lighter (still to heavey though). It was working pretty good for awhile on the water after much tinkering. But you dont get to many lengthy rides on water without coming asure and stopping for awhile. Still a few issues it was sunk but was always cleaned up and fixed proberly. It hasnt been the first time doing it and wont be the last. I then decided that its a pretty fun sled really peppy and would be sweet to be a beater in the winter as well. I found out that after about 20 min if maybe ten min driving it stars to die on me. This prob could be what was causing the bog on the water as well. It dies wheather you are moving with it pinned or not. The affect is like what would happen if you had a loose dess or if you hit your kill switch down really quickly and pulled it back up before it shut off. Longer you let it happen the quicker it starts to happen. So i bring it home and throw it in the garage and everything is fine after it is off for some time. I have checked gas, changed the stator looked for leaks checked pressure cleaned it up and did everything general like I always do. I tried changing spark plugs and checked to see if the jetting was good and it seems to be with a nice crisp brown and sometimes a bit wetter depending on how you were riding. We cleaned the carbs out to. I am completly stumped. Another issue with the sled is the rpm gauge goes off when you flick the handwarmers off but that is minor and just a stupid cross i would assume. I can't see changing the gear mattering and the sled does have a silencer. I am out of ideas and nobody i talk to has any more then me. I need help i wanna go for a ride. I was also wondering what would be the best ramp adjustment for the sled to be more low end out of the primary with the gearing of 19 and 43 and a 136X15X1.75 track. That second thing is minor i can find tht out easy on my own but please i would like some help with the sled dieing I so want to try it for one good ride in the snow. sounds like you smoked your ecm.....that's going to cost you, really no way to troubleshoot it either, except to swap it out with one you know is good. But try cleaning your contacts and put new dialectric grease in the connections

ya thanks i wll look at it i thnk it may have more to do with the dpm havin water in it and freezing i will lok into both
