 Ouch! $95 for a temp gague for my 2002 MXZ 500? :nervous: Sorry,, I've been a boater for a couple of decades, and a Marine temp gague costs between $18-$28. :cussing: Anyone been here? would it work?

I'm sure any old temp. guage would work, the problem is the sensor they supply with the guage is different than the one that works with the idiot light. The new sender is a variable resistor type instead of a thermo-switch type.Price out just the resistor sender and if its cheap enough to justify just buying the one item,go for it.You may save a few bucks.

The OEM gauge's graphics will match the other gauges. Also the wiring harness is include w/ instructions for the wiring & a template for drilling the hole.

You know, for what these damm sleds cost today, there is no reason that every sled manufacture not have full gauges!
A temp gauge? Absoulty! I would have burned my sled up last year without one! An idiot light is too late IMO............
